Renters reform bill – again!
The Renters Reform Bill is back into Parliament for the first reading under the new Government. We will keep everyone updated as it progresses. The big takeaways are that Section 21 will be outlawed and that first year tenancies will be protected. It will also make it easier for incoming tenants to have pets, (providing they have insurance), and also for those customers who are in receipt of Housing Allowance/Universal Credit to obtain accommodation. There is a lot to talk about within the bill, so please contact us for a fuller analysis of what this will mean for you, whether you are a tenant, looking for a home, or a landlord. We can talk you through what this all means.
