South Lakes Lettings are the only dedicated lettings agency based in the Dalton area that is ARLA accredited. “Dalton’s own letting agent” offering a personal property letting service across the Furness and South Cumbria area with furnished and unfurnished properties in Ulverston, Barrow in Furness, Dalton and the surrounding areas in Furness and the Furness Peninsula. We also work within the Public Sector to offer a rehousing scheme. Locally trusted, many of our landlords have been with us for a long period. Our professional knowledge, and friendly approach makes us the first choice for many landlords.
The Directors of SLL have long experience in working in the property environment as investors, landlords and property managers. And, as professionals in our own disciplines, we know the standards of conduct and service we wish to offer our customers. SLL was formed in 2010 as we felt that we could provide a better service than we had previously received from agents we had used. And, our perspective that we could use our Dalton base to provide a whole of Furness and South Lakes service to match any agent. Agencies have come and gone from Dalton but we are here “on the high street” and providing services to our landlords and tenants.
We are currently contributing to the Borderlands project sponsored by Cumbria County Council which is bringing central government funding to Dalton via the Dalton Town Plan. This is an exciting project which will see investment in our town for cultural, economic and service benefits. We also raise funds for the Morecambe Bay Health Authority Charity and support some of their annual fundraising events.
